Craigholme School is the only independent school in the west of Scotland that caters exclusively for girls aged five to eighteen, as well as a co-educational nursery for children aged three to five. Here at Craigholme School we aim to deliver a special kind of education for girls which allows them to be themselves and explore what is best for them whilst leading to greater academic achievement and personal fulfilment.
We are proud of the warm, compassionate environment we offer along with the positive ethos and personal approach we create to suit the needs of each girl. Every girl is catered for, their achievements are celebrated and learning is valued and enjoyed within our School.
Our girls know that if they work hard and use their talents then they can achieve what they set their mind to. The only barrier to achievement are the ones we create ourselves. Craigholme aims to build the confidence and resilience within our girls to overcome any obstacle before them. We encourage our girls to succeed in all aspects of their lives in order to achieve their goals and leave Craigholme as women of independent mind who will make a valuable contribution to society.
At Craigholme we place an emphasis on respect for each other and working together to achieve our goals. We have an inclusive ethos and offer a wealth of opportunities, including acting to canoeing, debating to engineering, and hockey to photography. Our girls benefit from small class sizes and are therefore known and valued by every member of staff.
We would be delighted to offer you a tour of our school to experience the unique atmosphere first hand. We welcome your daughter to join us for a Taster Day to experience life at Craigholme.
