It’s been a busy few months here at Face & Body, with lots of great things in the pipeline and some exciting projects already underway. As you may have guessed from the title of this blog, one thing I’ve been involved in recently is making a TV show.

I’m delighted to say that you can catch me on Sky’s Fitness and Beauty Channel (282) at 9pm on Friday 28 March, when I’ll be onThe Ultimate Anti-Ageing Show talking about the benefits ofUltherapy.

Antonia Mariconda, aka The Cosmedic Coach, presents the programme – as an award winning beauty writer and blogger, she’s the perfect choice and it was lovely to work with her.

I have to confess that I was a little nervous when the film crew arrived here at Alva Street, but other than my hair deciding to try to grab all the attention by sticking out (thankfully we fixed it with lots of lacquer before filming) I’m pleased to say everything went very smoothly.

It was really exciting to be able to talk about one of our newest – and one of my favourite – treatments on the show. If you’ve not heard about Ultherapy, before, it’s a great lifting and tightening treatment, which gives fantastic results. In fact, it’s the only non-surgical lifting treatment to be FDA approved.

Ultherapy – the power of sound

Ultherapy uses ultrasound to treat areas such as the neck and jaw line, and can be so effective at banishing jowls that many people prefer it to surgery. And with results lasting for up to two years after just one treatment (it does take 3-4 months to work its magic), it’s no wonder it’s fast becoming a hit with so many of you.

As well as filming here in Edinburgh we also went down to Harley Street where I had the chance to meet some of the other experts who’ll be appearing on the show. It was an amazing opportunity to hear about new developments and ideas within the industry, which is something I always enjoy.

I may not be the only familiar face you spot on the show – fans of The Apprentice may well recognise a recent winner, Dr Leah Totton, who’s talking about peels on the programme.

I’m very proud to have been part of this show and had great fun filming once the cameras were rolling (and that errant curl was tamed). I hope that you’re able to tune in and, if you do, you enjoy watching the show as much as I enjoyed being part of it.

Its on this Friday 28th March at 9pm on Sky’s Fitness and Beauty Channel (282) – I’m up second just after Dr Leah Totton.

Update – 30 March 2014

Deligthed with the show. I thought Dr Leah and Dr Mountford spoke well on their subjects – Tracy making some really important points for all consdiering Botox treatments. If you missed the show you can catch up on the first half here on theFace & Body YouTube Channel.
